Job Overview
Mandera County Public Service Board is seeking a skilled Information Communication Technology Officer I / System Developer to enhance the county’s IT infrastructure and application development. This position involves monitoring network performance, developing user-facing features, collaborating with team members, and maintaining high-quality code to support efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Performance Monitoring: Monitor network health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
- Program Testing: Conduct unit, integrated, and acceptance testing to ensure software quality.
- Feature Development: Develop user-facing features and enhance applications for speed and scalability.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Work with product owners, stakeholders, and DevOps engineers to implement CI/CD pipelines and resolve blockers.
- UI/UX Integration: Translate wireframes and mockups into responsive code while ensuring usability and accessibility.
- Validation and Debugging: Ensure user input is validated before backend submission and assist developers in debugging and troubleshooting.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for feature implementations, releases, and workflows.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices to improve system efficiency.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience in system development, software testing, and network performance monitoring.
